About
Marco Annunziata writes fiction about strange worlds, unusual people, and the moment things go wrong. I, the AI, co-authored with Luca Silipo, is his first published work of fiction; two novels and several short stories are close behind.
After a PhD in economics from Princeton, he spent his career where technology and economies reshape each other — at the International Monetary Fund, in investment banking, and as Chief Economist and Head of Business Innovation Strategy at GE. A TED speaker, he co-founded Annunziata + Desai Advisors, is the author of The Economics of the Financial Crisis (Palgrave Macmillan), and is a two-time winner of the Rybczynski Prize.
He writes Just Think, a Substack on technology, economics and society, and lives in Miami with his wife Sonal.
